FROM THE BYEU BYLAWS, HERE are descriptions for each role:
President: The president spearheads the booster club, overseeing all orders and resolutions. She/he arranges and sets the agenda for monthly meetings (usually held via Zoom) and ensures that all facets of the booster operation are functioning properly.

Vice President: The vice president is principally tasked with coordinating volunteer crews for parades, concerts and other events as needed. She/he works alongside the band director to keep parents informed about upcoming plans and what assistance will be required. She/he is also tasked with compiling a slate of candidates for Board of Director positions, to be presented for a vote at the first parents meeting.

Treasurer: The treasurer is responsible for maintaining the Booster Club’s bank ledger and permanent records and helps provide a budget for the school year. In addition to presenting a financial update at each meeting, she/he pays all expenditures as approved by the Board of Directors, co-signing checks with the president.

Secretary: The secretary takes minutes at each meeting, then presents the previous meeting’s notes for approval at each successive meeting. She/he also works with the vice president to maintain a roster of all parents and expedite any communications from the Booster Club.

Ways & Means Chairperson: This position is focused on fundraising. The chairperson works with school/district administrators (as needed) and local businesses to set up such revenue-generating events and ensures that monies raised are delivered to the treasurer and/or president.

Uniform Chairperson: This board member manages uniform fittings toward the start of the school year (always with help from others) and is chiefly responsible for distributing uniforms and shakos on event days. She/he also assists with procuring dry cleaning and alterations as needed.

Webmaster: This person maintains our website, updating it with pertinent information, fresh details and photos as they become available. She/he also helps oversee our social media presence.
